Silverwood Motel

Appreciated the room that accommodated our large family. Kitchenette was very useful, however our room had a router for wifi plugged in the kitchen leaving no plug for appliances such as toaster etc. and we had to move the table and plug in behind the fridge. Staff was helpful and room was clean, I appreciated the hard flooring without any carpet. Outdoor Pool was very nice and well maintained. Each room had its own propane barbecue as well. That said it is still a motel and the beds were clearly inexpensive models and did not make for a great night's sleep.

Stayed at this cozy hotel and absolutely loved the vibes! The interior was stylish and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The staff was super friendly. They went above and beyond to recommend amazing spots to visit during our stay. Their tips made our trip even more memorable. The location is perfect, with everything easily accessible. Highly recommend! You won’t regret this experience!

We came here with our family, not having visited PEI in about a decade. We usually camp, but this year stayed at the motel. The room types varied. We were in room 23 it had two twin beds, a fridge and microwave and AC. It had a TV with a Roku. Some of the other units had much more, like kitchens, back deck, BBQ etc and our family stayed in those. We had trouble with our window AC. It was stuck on the coldest temperature and we froze for a few hours. It was too late to call anyone, but we managed to get it unstuck but it was extremely loud coming off and on. We had a toddler with us. If you're sensitive to noise ask for a room with a different style AC. We were very close to everything except a regular grocery store. There is a tourist stop directly across a busy highway (no crosswalk) with prices a bit higher. So be sure to bring food unless you plan on eating out most of the time. There was a pool but it didn't open until 11am. It was good in afternoon but with young kids trying to keep busy before the tourist areas open, it would be nice if it opened earlier. The staff were constantly on site cleaning and very visible. Our unit was very clean. The units are a bit outdated, but it's reflected in the very reasonable price for the area. Overall our extended family will be back, we may stay somewhere else that's less of a tourist area and more scenic. But we think it's still good bang for your buck. Good spot to host a family reunion

It was a perfect spot for my family of six. There is a small grocery store directly across the street open during the season, so it was convenient to get breakfast foods for us. The pictures on the website were the same as we saw in the motel. The pool was perfect, and the small playground was also a nice place to relax for the kids to play. The location was perfect for us, it was in the heart of Cavendish and fairly close to Charlottetown. I would stay here again.

My friend and I booked this motel nearly last minute, and we are so glad we did! The room was very clean and comfortable. There was even a Roku tv, which was nice to have even though we did not use it. The only issue was we could not get the door unlocked, however, the lovely receptionist showed us how to unlock the finicky door. I would recommend this motel to any other young women looking to stay in a safe, clean, and comfortable accommodation!

Cozy spot right across from the Tourist Market and very close to other attractions. The room was quite dated, although I'm not sure every room is like that. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. There are bbq's outside to use so that was great, we just packed a cooler and cooked at the motel to save the hassle of taking the kids out for supper. The pool is a short walk from the rooms and was nice and clean. For the price this is definitely a decent spot, would love to see the rooms a little modernized in the future though.

Nice place. Room was clean and had everything you needed for a long stay. Plates, bowls, cutlery, coffee maker, hot plate, microwave, toaster oven and toaster. There was a bbq at the back to use and another in the communal front. Pool was decent no hot tub.

We have stayed at this motel more than once. It is clean, has a pool and perfectly located next to other places to grab a bite of food. They went above and beyond catering to our needs. We will stay there again and I would recommend it to anyone. Clair who worked the front desk when we were there was so helpful and attentive to all the guests. Our experience left me impressed with her care and efforts.
